On Thursday, October 5th, Lincoln Derr Attorney Gwendolyn Lewis had the privilege of sitting on a panel at Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology addressing a group of more than sixty (60) high school students. Ms. Lewis was joined on the panel by three other attorneys encouraging students to stay focused on successful pathways to professional school or the legal profession. A high school student moderated the discussion.
Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology is a Charlotte-Mecklenburg School (“CMS”) Magnet School that provides a rigorous core curriculum centered on Engineering, Technology, Medical Sciences, and Biotechnology. Ms. Lewis shared that the students were eager to interact with the panel and if her participation positively influenced at least one student, it was time well spent.
