Kathi Lucchesi recently joined Lincoln Derr to lead and expand our Labor and Employment Law practice area. She is an experienced North Carolina trial lawyer who also regularly advises employers, large and small, on a broad range of employment issues, including the interpretation and application of Title VII, ADA, FMLA, ADEA, and state and federal wage and hour laws.

The addition of Kathi to our team was inspired by client demand for advice concerning the numerous and ever-changing state and federal employment laws and regulations.

Kathi regularly assists clients in making personnel decisions that minimize the risk of future litigation. In addition to representing North Carolina employers in court and before enforcement agencies, Kathi’s policy development experience includes employee handbooks, sexual harassment policies, ADA compliance, internal grievance procedures and drug screening programs. She also counsels clients regarding terminations and termination agreements, criminal activity committed by employees, sexual harassment, and DOL audits.

When litigation arises, Kathi works with clients to find the most creative and cost-effective way achieve the client’s objectives.
