Sara Lincoln, Tricia Derr, and Beth Stanfield avoided the Charlotte heatwave last weekend by traveling to the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains to attend the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys (NCADA) Annual Meeting in Asheville, North Carolina. The Asheville setting, including the thriving restaurant and brewery scene, was a lovely change from the customary forum in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
As always, the NCADA annual meeting serves as a wonderful way for Lincoln Derr attorneys and paralegals to connect with friends and colleagues across a wide variety of legal spectrums, as well as distinguished judges serving in our trial, appellate, and business courts across the state.
Sara also had the honor of presenting during the Medical Malpractice group session about the unprecedented “string” of directed verdict victories she and Scott Addison recently received in two back to back Medical Malpractice cases tried in March and April of this year.
Since its inception, Lincoln Derr has been committed to and actively involved in the NCADA. Currently, Sara is serving on the Board of Directors, and Beth is serving as the Chair of the Medical Malpractice practice group.
