Who are you? Gwendolyn Williams Lewis, an energetic, committed advocate, problem-solver, and collaborator.

What do you do? 
Help others through dedication, diligence and resolve to achieve best possible outcomes.

Where did you come from? 
Most recently, Greensboro, North Carolina. Originally, however, I hail from Richmond, Virginia where I was born to natives of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

How did you get here? By putting in the time and hard work to achieve my goals, all the while believing that all things are possible!

Why should I hire you? I have what it takes to creatively solve problems and achieve best results.

Digging Deeper

Business philosophy? Listening is the key to understanding. Be responsive. Work Hard. Deliver on your promises.

Proudest moment? Professionally, graduating law school after succeeding as a first-generation college student. Personally, witnessing the compassion and kindness my children regularly show others.

Biggest regret? …I have none…this life is about learning lessons and I’m a quick study!

Best quality in business? My ability to make relationships, connect across cultures, persist, and stand firm in the view that options abound, but failure is not one of them.

Making it Personal

Family?  Very big family, all of whom are the loves of my life. My two children, Melodie and Malachi, however, own the two halves of my heart.

If I could meet anyone… I would ease back to 1872, meet Charlotte E. Ray, and ask her how it felt to become the first Black American female lawyer in the United States.

If I could hear any song right now… I Hope You Dance – Lee Ann Womack/Carrie Underwood.

My biggest influence is… My faith.

Three random things about me…

  1. Seafood is my favorite food and gives me some of the fondest memories of my childhood.
  2. I am a proud mocker! I competed competitively on a trial team during law school and later coached more than six teams to their regional competitions.
  3. While my years of cheerleading are well behind me, I have managed to preserve my boisterous chanting abilities and use them during practically any competitive basketball game—I love the sport!
