With over 15 years of critical care nursing experience, Katherine excels in analyzing a case’s medical facts and collaborates with our attorneys to develop legal defense strategies through voluminous medical records examination and creating concise medical chronologies.
Katherine began her career as a nurse at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC, working in the adult Surgical-Transplant ICU. She then worked as a travel nurse for several years, completing assignments in critical care units across the country. She continues to work part-time at the bedside and in the critical care float pool, which allows her to maintain her certifications and stay informed of updates and changes to clinical practice.
Katherine received her Bachelor’s of Science in nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2007. In 2009, she obtained her CCRN certification and has maintained her licensure.
Katherine is a Tarheel fan and resides in Charlotte with her husband and two children.
