This case involved medical treatment for a heel pad degloving injury following a motorcycle accident. Plaintiff’s injury was so severe that he went on to have a below the knee amputation, which the defense contended was the natural progression for this type of injury.
The jury deliberated for approximately 90 minutes before returning a unanimous verdict, asserting that the injury was not caused by the negligence of our doctor.
